Vigilance during your hikes at the beginning of summer!

News

Due to recent bad weather, several hiking trails in the region are impassable or require significant detours to ensure everyone's safety.

DETOURS OF TWO IRRIGATION CHANNELS
The Vex irrigation channe, the Salins irrigation channel and the Chervé irrigation channel, in particular, have undergone significant modifications, with detours in place. Of course, these walks are still quite doable, but it is necessary to take into account the detours and therefore the additional time and distances.

WORKS AT TRACOUET
Currently, the Tracouet site is undergoing numerous works. The new Prarion chairlift is under construction, and therefore, the edge of the Tracouet lake and the hike to Balavaux are less charming.

PLENTY OF BEAUTIFUL WALKS
Many magnificent walks remain accessible, especially towards Tortin-Siviez. You can discover the Crêtes du Mont-Rouge from Combatseline, the Cleuson dam, or even the Grand Désert lake from Tortin. These routes offer breathtaking views. If you want to gain altitude, head to Mont-Fort, at 3,330 meters, and enjoy the stunning views of the Alps and surrounding peaks.

FROM HAUTE-NENDAZ
From Haute-Nendaz, all the irrigation channels are accessible and can be the perfect walk during these upcoming sunny days.

STAY VIGILANT
Stay attentive and cautious during your excursions. Conditions can change quickly, with the risk of falling rocks and landslides still present. It is essential to prepare your outing well and check the weather conditions.

Take the time to enjoy the exceptional nature of Nendaz, while ensuring your safety and that of other hikers. Find our hiking proposals below.
