The Combatseline chairlift is opening for the first time ever at the beginning of June. As a result of the recent snowfall above 2,000 metres, a signposted snowshoe hike from the top of the chairlift is being organized on the 5th and 6th of June
Event has ended
Nendaz is offering an extended opening of its ski lifts this summer. The Combatseline chairlift, which arrives at 2,238 metres above sea level, is operating at weekends from Saturday the 5th of June. Although summer is back at last at lower altitudes, at Combatseline, the snow is still very much present.
As a result, it is on snowshoes that hikers can enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of the landscape. A specially signposted itinerary leads walkers on a tour of about one and a half hours from the restaurant. The restaurant is also open and awaits hikers for a bite to eat or a refreshing drink, both inside and outside on its terrace, which offers a stunning panoramic view.
