This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Valais Drink Pure Alphorn Festival in Nendaz. This anniversary cannot be celebrated as elaborately as desired, but an exhibition at Nînd'Art provides the perfect opportunity to discover the rich history of the Alphorn in Nendaz and more specifically a unique insight into its annual festival.

The 2021 edition, whose organization depends of course on the evolution of the health situation, has been set for Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of July. It is focusing on the essence of the event: the Alphorn competition. Over the years, the parade, the craft market, the dance, the OFF competition, and the folklore events have been added to this event. These numerous festive touches have made it possible to introduce the Alphorn to Nendaz's visitors in an amazingly festive manner transforming it into an unforgettable social event.

The exhibition features the original posters from the 20 editions, a large number of photos, various alphorns and costumes, artwork by local artists. On certain days, it is also possible to watch a traditional Alphorn making demonstration. A film with archive videos and various interviews is also on display.
