The Cheese from Nendaz

Local & regional heritage

Nendaz has two dairies that passionately transform the milk from our cows into delicious cheeses.

In addition to the world famous raclette cheese, Nendaz offers various types of cheese made from the milk of the hundreds of cows in the region:

- The tomme
- The sérac
- The fondue

In summer, the cheeses are made on the various mountain pastures in Nendaz; the rest of the year, they are made in one of the two dairies in the municipality, one in Brignon and the other in Haute-Nendaz.

You can also find goat's or sheep's cheese.

As an aperitif or for meals, let yourself be enraptured by the taste of the land thanks to our excellent cheeses !
