The ultimate qualifiying race of the Grand Prix Migros, the biggest ski competition in Europe for young people aged 8 to 16, will take place in Nendaz.
For the participants, this will be the last chance to win an admission ticket to the grand final taking place in Obersaxen a week later. They will race on two giant slalom traces, with difficulties adapted to their age: the Nationale piste for the older ones, and that of l'Alpage for the younger.
A happy family festivity
In addition to being a competition, the Grand Prix Migros legs are an opportunity for the whole family to spend a great day in the mountains. In the Grand Prix Migros village in Nendaz, the participants can enjoy a delicious meal, free games and competitions. With the ‘minirace’, 6-7 year olds can also enjoy the pleasure of slaloming through the gates on a course specially designed for them.
