Link up with nature and take care of oneself. Meeting point at 1.30pm.
Forest bathing is a gentle activity of full awareness which invites one to slow down and connect with nature.
Derived from an age-old practice, the Forest bathing are popular in Japan and for several years have met with enthusiasm worldwide. It consists of a form of preventive medecine which incites one to take a contemplative walk, to turn one's attention inward, to meditate, to link up with oneself and one's true nature, amongst other things.
Studies demonstrate the benefits of nature and of trees for such troubles as anxiety, stress, diabetes, cardiac rhythm disorders, but also for the reinforcement of the immunity system. Connecting with nature also awakens the ecological conscience and reminds us that we are intimately connected with all forms of life.
This form of meditation in nature is open to the general public and requires no particular physical condition. This group activity also offers a moment of exchange and of creativity.
