Get out your craziest fancy dress ! The Nendaz carnival promises to be very colourful.

This age-old tradition takes place every year on Mardi Gras in Nendaz and constitutes an unforgettable event for the whole family: a fancy dress competition for the children led by a clown, guggenmusik and torchlight procession are the highlights of the festivities. The theme changes every year and thus inspires the decor of the event and the participants' costumes. Dressed up or not, take part in this celebration full of joy and high spirits !

PROGRAMME

14:00-17:00 : Children's costume contest and mini ice disco at the Haute-Nendaz ice rink, with complimentary hot chocolate and a visit from Cheesy.
15:00-17:00 : Giant craft workshop (registration required at Nendaz Tourisme)
18:30 : Parade with floats and Guggenmusik bands (La Zikadonf, Les Terouk, and Les Peinsaclicks) from Square Place to the Gondola Station Square
19:45 : Arrival of the torchlit descent at the bottom of the Tracouet slope, featuring a ski instructors' show
20:00-21:00 : Complimentary hot drinks served at the Gondola Station Square
20:15-23:00 : Musical performances with Guggenmusik bands.
