Sunrise is a gift offered to us by Mother Nature, but has to be deserved by getting up early in the morning. The sky is lit up with flamboyant colours until the first rays appear. It is all the more beautiful from the top of a mountain. Mont-Fort, with its 360 degree panoramic view over the most beautiful peaks in the Alps (Matterhorn, Dent Blanche, Grand Combin and Mont-Blanc in particular), is an ideal spot!
Departing from Siviez, the ski lifts take you up to 3,330 metres above sea level by taking the Tortin chairlift, the Gentianes cable car and then the Mont-Fort cable car.
From up there, take a deep breath of fresh air and admire the sunrise to the sound of the alphorn. After enjoying this pure magical moment, take the cable car back down to the restaurant Hameau de Tortin to enjoy a hearty continental breakfast.
